In-Person Small Group Classes
Currently Enrolling

This class is perfect for kids who need a confidence boost in reading going into next year! These small group Orton Gillingham-style sessions will start with a 3 part drill for letter/sound practice and end with game-based decoding practice and handwriting. Depending on the day, students might find themselves in a bigger group, a smaller group, or solo, but we'll always follow the same 3-part drill and game format.

Come into the studio weekly for 4, 45-minute sessions over the course of either July or August. Get your summer reading done, keep your skills fresh, and avoid the "summer slide". We run Reading Lab classes as soon as we have one student enrolled in the grade band but will keep adding students to a group until we max out at six kids. Depending on the day, students might find themselves in a bigger group, a smaller group, or solo, but we'll always build those crucial reading skills.

New Class! Now Beginning August 25
In middle school, academic demands rise, social expectations increase, and emotional regulation becomes more important than ever—yet the prefrontal cortex, which controls executive functioning, is still developing. This weekly 45-minute small group class helps middle schoolers strengthen key executive functioning skills. Each session is divided into two parts: the first half introduces a new executive functioning skill, and the second half focuses on applying that skill—and previous ones—to real-life situations. If your middle schooler struggles with planning and prioritizing, time management, organization, working memory, impulse control, emotional regulation, task initiation, flexibility, or self-monitoring, this class offers a safe, supportive space to build those skills with guidance and encouragement.
