A Little Extra Help with "Adulting" Skills

In middle school, academic demands rise, social expectations increase, and emotional regulation becomes more important than ever-- yet the prefrontal cortex, which controls executive functioning, is still developing.  This weekly 45-minute small group class helps middle schoolers strengthen key executive functioning skills.  Each session is divided into two parts: the first half introduces a new executive functioning skills, and the second half focus on applying that skill--and previous ones--to real-life situations. If your middle schooler struggles with planning and prioritizing, time management, organization, working memory, impulse control, emotional regulation, task initiation, flexibility or self-monitoring, this class offers a safe, supportive space to build those skills with guidance and encouragement.  

Class will be held Mondays from 5-5:45pm at our studio at 185 Putnam Pike, Glocester.  

• Monthly enrollment fee is $165 (or sign up for recurring billing and save $15/month - 2 month minimum) . 
• Classes are Mondays. 
• Some months this will have 4 classes and other months 5. 
• Note that class will not be held on the following holidays during the 25-26 school year: MLK Day 1/19/25, Presidents' Day 2/17/26, Memorial Day 5/25/25.
• 45 minute sessions
• Begins in October 
• Un-enroll anytime.

 Why Teacher-Run Social Groups Work

Some kids thrive with a little extra practice in social situations—and that’s exactly what our teacher-led social groups are designed for. These small, supportive sessions offer a safe space for children to connect, build confidence, and practice communication and collaboration, all with gentle adult guidance. With structured activities and fun conversation starters, kids get to be themselves while learning how to navigate friendships, group dynamics, and everyday social cues.

Class will be held Wednesdays from 4-4:45 and 5-5:45pm at our studio at 185 Putnam Pike, Glocester.  

• Two month enrollment fee is $300. 
• Classes are Wednesdays. 
• Some months this will have 4 classes and other months 5. 
• Note that class will not be held on the following holidays during the 25-26 school year: New Year's Eve 12/31/25.
• 45 minute sessions
• Grades 1-3 at 4pm
• Grades 4-6 at 6pm
• Begins in October

"One Room School House" Drop In-Tutoring

Drop-in hours will be held Thursdays from 5-7 pm at our studio at 185 Putnam Pike, Glocester.  

• Monthly enrollment fee is $165 (or sign up for recurring billing and save $15/month - 2 month minimum).

•  Some months this will have 4 sessions and other months 5, with the exception of November 2025 and December 2025 (we will take Thanksgiving and Christmas off).

• Note that drop-in studios will not be held 11/27/25 (Thanksgiving), 12/15/25 (Christmas), 1/1/26 (New Years Day).
