HI everyone, my name is Sarah Hess. I've been an educator for 20 years. Snack and Recess is a passion project. I'm determined to create a joyful, engaging, small-group setting where kids and teacher can reclaim their love of learning, and I'd love for you to join me.

A Quick Background: Based out of Providence, RI; I've worked at public, private, and charter schools from preschool to college; my roles have included teacher, principal, literacy coach, instructional coach, professor, and tutor.
My education includes a BA in psychology from Wellesley College, an MAT in elementary education from Roger Williams University, and an MED in educational leadership from Rhode Island College.
Fun facts: I love psychology. Teacher wellness matters. It doesn't have to feel like this -- there is another way .
Things I love: my family, paddle boarding, coffee, being outdoors in nature, and my puppies!
