Small Group Classes

Tired of chasing your kids to do summer reading?
As a mom, I've been there!
As a teacher and as a principal, I always pushed for summer reading because the statistics are so clear. Kids lose skills-- especially newly acquired skills -- over vacations. Over summers, they lose months of progress. The kids who are hit hardest by this are the ones who most need to maintain their skills over summer.
And yet, I'm pretty sure I could live happily ever after if I knew I'd never have to chase one more of my own children around our neighborhood with a book log.
Truth is, though, it is hardest to teach your own children. Or to organize them. Or to manage their summer reading.
I'm offering small group tutorials this summer, including summer reading, game-based skills, and enrichment classes like art, science, and creative writing, with the hope that I can take something off another parent's plate.
Stop chasing your kids and outsource their summer learning assignments. Our 1 hour/week, 5 week small groups allow you to get back to enjoying your family!

- While 1-on-1 tutoring works, many families find themselves priced out of the level of support their kids need.
- Small groups offer a chance to socialize and learn in a safe setting, which lowers kids' resistance.
- You can literally scan their summer reading assignments to us and check it off your list.
- We also offer skills-based classes designed for fun and learning, as well as interest-based enrichment.
- We can be flexible, so this will work for your family even if you have vacations or other commitments.
